Pair of Pillows
For the very, very beginner. If you've always wanted to sew but hadn't a clue on how to get started, this is the workshop for you. You will practice threading a machine and winding a bobbin and you will learn to use a rotary cutter and mat. You will sew a pair of matching throw pillows with removable covers. No previous sewing experience required. Participants will leave with a pair of throw pillows to adorn their couch or bed. Bring 2 yards of your own non-knit fabric!

Pajama Pants - Beginning

Learn to read a commercial pattern by constructing basic pajama pants. You will learn to make a buttonhole, hemming and pattern reading techniques. You'll leave this workshop with a finished pair of pajama pants. Who doesn't love new PJ's? This class is suitable for beginners. Come to class with 2.5 yds of your favorite woven cotton or cotton blend fabric.

This workshop is for those who are comfortable using a sewing machine and want to take their construction skills to the next level. You will create your own handbag with one zipper pocket, one open pocket and a magnetic snap closure. You will leave with a high-end, quality handbag that will make you the envy of all your friends!

Serging Basics
Sergers are for more than finishing seams! Learn the basics, and other creative uses of a serger including working with knits! You will get a chance to experiment with a few of the stitches on the serger by making a knit skirt. Come to class with 2 yards of knit fabric that has at least 35% stretch.

Zipper Hoodie - Part 1
This two part workshop is for those with intermediate to advanced level sewing ability. Take your knitware sewing skills to the next level and make your own Zipper Hoodie. Learn how to install a separating zipper into knit fabric. Work with ribbing, and walk away with a custom made hoodie.
