Transform your wide leg jeans into skinny jeans, take in side seams, adjust hemlines, lower waistlines and become your own personal tailor. Select a few of your own clothes to bring in and play with. Button Down Shirt Part 1- Intermediate
Make your own women's or men's buton down shirt. You'll re-familiarize yourself with reading a commercial pattern, sew seams, and learn how to set sleeves, put in a collar, make button holes and sew on buttons. This is a great next step workshop after our PJ Pants class. You will need approximately 2.5 yards of your favorite lightweight fabric, thread to match and 6 buttons. Pajama Pants - Beginning
Learn to read a commercial pattern by constructing basic pajama pants. You will learn to make a buttonhole, hemming and pattern reading techniques. You'll leave this workshop with a finished pair of pajama pants. Who doesn't love new PJ's? This class is suitable for beginners. Come to class with 2.5 yds of your favorite woven cotton or cotton blend fabric.

Parent/Child PJ Pants
Come with your child and learn to sew together. In this workshop you can help your younger child learn how to use a sewing machine while constructing a pair of pajama pants. In this special workshop for parents and their children we will cover all of the same techniques as in our regular PJ pants workshop. Neither parents or children need to have any prior sewing experience. We will provide the patterns. In this workshop you can just make the pants with your child or if you have a little prior sewing experience you can make a pair for yourself as well. Bring 2.5 yards cotton fabric (and thread to match) for adult sized pants and call or email for the yardage requirements for the kids size pants.

Pencil Skirt Part 1

Serging Basics
Sergers are for more than finishing seams! Learn the basics, and other creative uses of a serger including working with knits! You will get a chance to experiment with a few of the stitches on the serger by making a knit skirt. Come to class with 2 yards of knit fabric that has at least 35% stretch.

This two part workshop is for those with intermediate to advanced level sewing ability. Take your knitware sewing skills to the next level and make your own Zipper Hoodie. Learn how to install a separating zipper into knit fabric. Work with ribbing, and walk away with a custom made hoodie.
