Things to know about your workshop!
Pre-registration is required. Reservations will not be held without payment in full. We do not allow workshop participants to bring children or guests to class.

Age Requirements
At The Crafter's Studio, we provide an adult oriented space for creativity and relaxation. Workshops are open to ages 15 and up. Ages 10 and below can register for our Kids Workshops offered each month. Private craft parties may be arranged for groups of five or more children. See our selection of kids crafts under 'More Crafts' on the Home page of this website.

Workshop Length/Size/Fees/Supplies
Most workshops are single sessions offering 3 hours of hands-on instruction and practice (unless otherwise noted). We generally keep our classes small (6-8 students) to ensure individual attention. Fees: Fee indicated includes instruction and a studio pass good for the day of class. Unless indicated in the class description, supplies are included in the class fee.

Liability
The Crafter's Studio does not assume liability for lost or damaged projects or the loss of personal property. Please keep valuables with you or locked in a safe place. No studio tools, equipment or studio books may be removed from the facility.

How to Register for Workshops
Sign-up and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Since class sizes are limited and instructors must prepare or purchase supplies in advance, prepayment of workshop and materials fees are required when you register. Same day registration is at the discretion of the instructor. If you have any questions about workshop availability, how to register, or anything else, feel free to email us.

Online Registration
Visit the calendar to find the class you would like to attend and follow the links and instructions to complete your registration. Payment methods: Credit or debit card.

Phone Registration
To register over the phone, call us at (831) 421-9605 to complete your registration. Payment methods: Gift certificate, credit or debit card.

Mail-in Registration
Mail your payment (made out to Crafter's Studio) along with the day and time of the workshop for which you're registering. Once we receive you check, we'll call you to confirm your registration. Payment methods: Gift certificate, check or money order.

Please note: You must provide a valid phone number and/or email so we can confirm your registration. To secure a workshop spot while your payment makes its way to us, call us at (831) 421-9605 to let us know your "check is in the mail." We will hold your place for up to 2 business days.

Walk-in Registration
Stop by Crafter's Studio and complete your registration at 504 Front Street during studio hours. Payment methods: Credit or debit card, check or money order.

Refunds
If you find you cannot attend a workshop for which you are registered, please notify Crafter's Studio as soon as possible. You always have the option of sending someone in your place. If you notify Crafter's Studio you would like to cancel at least 7 days in advance of your workshopís scheduled date, you will have your choice of transferring your payment to another workshop or be refunded 50% of your original payment. If you give less than 7 days advance notice, your entire payment is nonrefundable and nontransferable to another workshop. There are no refunds for missed classes. Refunds will be made via check and mailed to the address you provided when registering.

Cancellations
Crafter's Studio reserves the right to cancel or reschedule workshops and open studios. All registered participants will be notified, and in the case of a cancellation, a full refund or the option to apply the payment to another class will be given.

Picking Up Projects
For most Crafter's Studio workshops, you will complete and take home your finished creation at the end of the 3-hour workshop. A limited number of workshop projects require additional drying time and/or firing before they are completed, and the workshop listing will clearly highlight that it is necessary to leave your project at Crafter's Studio and will indicate when your work will be ready for pick up. You can pick up your work on that date, and thereafter during any subsequent open studio time.
