The Crafter's Studio offers three and four hour workshops in over 30 different crafts for all ability levels!In just three or four hours, you can learn a new craft and take home something handcrafted by you! We offer workshops for all levels in sewing, metal smithing including enameled jewelry, glass bead making, knitting, screen printing and more! Photo Frame Pendants - Beginning Soldering (5 spaces still available) Make a modern, photo frame pendant using basic soldering techniques, glass and a personal photo or picture. Participants can bring their own photo, or choose to use stock photos or fabrics supplied in the studio. Our new policy: There are six spaces open for this workshop. We only run a workshop when we are fully registered (all spaces filled). We will notify you 24 hours in advance ONLY if the workshop is cancelled. We will post the number of available spaces and update this on a daily basis. 
Encaustic Painting (Okay, painting with wax, but cooler!) - Beginning (2 spaces still available) What's Encaustic painting? Painting with beeswax mixed with colored pigment and resin is one of the oldest art forms known and can be dated back to Greek artists in the 5th century B.C.! With a depth, and translucency that seems to emanate from within, this ancient technique is inspiring a new generation of artists. Our new policy: There are six spaces open for this workshop. Welcome to the Studio!
Re-Launch of The Crafter's Studio! With some re-structuring and a lot of enthusiasm, we have opened the studio again for workshops! Hip, hip, hooray!! I've received so many calls and emails telling me you miss us that we thought we'd give it another go. We're offering old favorites and some new workshops as well. The big switch is the workshop size. We'll only have six people in a workshop, but we'll only run the workshop if the class is fully registered. You'll be able to track the number of registrations available on each workshop description page. So, if there's a workshop you're really wanting to take and you see that there are only five people registered, it's time to call your besty and tell her to get her craft on! On behalf of all the gang at the studio, we're so happy to be re-opening and hope to see all our regulars as well as loads of new faces! I've scheduled lots of "beginner" courses this first month for any newbie crafters. Don't be intimidated by the awesome descriptions for the workshops. YOU CAN DO IT!!!
